RIAZ

As a 1st year Interaction Design student, I had the opportunity to work on a project named Riaz with Microsoft on a 2 month internship - FOUNDRY PROGRAM. Riaz is a mobile application focussing on building an experience for classical music students who are pursuing their singing lessons online. This is an application designed for Windows 10. I was working and collaborating with a team, which consisted of a management intern, 3 software engineering interns and myself as the UX intern.

For an internship as short as 2 months, it gave me learnings much more than its duration. It was an experience made rich by the constant mentoring from the in-house designers, weekly reviews with the entire Microsoft design team, and biggest of all, getting to be an active contributor in the entire app development process, right from the ideation phase up to the communication of the exact UI and UX requirements to the engineers on my team.

As for my individual role in this project, I was responsible for tasks varying from brainstorming at the initial stages to designing the user experience, service and the interface of the application as well as delivering the assets for the development of the product.

As I have signed a Non Disclosure Agreement with Microsoft, I can only share this project for the purpose of a Portfolio Review and Interview.
